Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken

This Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken is perfect comfort food!
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 to 3 libs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 (2/3 ounce) package Italian salad dressing mix
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  1. Place the chopped onion in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Place chicken on top of the onion, and sprinkle Italian seasoning and minced garlic over chicken.
  3. Pour water over chicken.
  4. Cook on low for 5-7 hours.
  5. Add the cream cheese and mix in, shredding the chicken while you're at it.
  6. Serve immediately, or keep on warm until ready to serve.
