Six years ago, when we bought our current house, I was worried. It only has one bathroom, and I was certain that my smooth and trouble-free marriage had previously hinged on the fact that we had always lived in houses with more than one bathroom. Could my husband and I still love each other if we shared a bathroom? What about the babies that would eventually need to use our only toilet, too?

I quickly learned the one good thing about having a single bathroom home: I only have one to clean. It’s tiny, too! You would think that our closet-sized restroom would always be sparkling, and you would be oh, so wrong. I am a terrible housekeeper. I mean, we don’t live in filth, but our abode isn’t what one would call “clean” or “organized.” More accurate would be “dusty” or “Has anyone seen that thing that was over here last week? What random pile is it in now?”

When it comes to our itty-bitty bathroom, I wipe down the surfaces daily, but the corners of the shower, and the shower curtain are neglected. I’m in good company, as 100% of US homes have mold. Your house has mold, too? Fist bump!

After just five minutes of spraying on Tilex® Mold and Mildew Remover, the black corners and edges were white again. A quick rinse, and I was ready to go back to ignoring the tub and shower. 

And the bathroom was sparkly clean, and smelled so good, the kids got excited.
