This Crockpot Bacon Ranch Chicken is quick, easy, and a crockpot chicken recipe your family will love! This dinner may not be healthy but is a comfort food meal at its best.

As you may know, our Crock Pot Thursday crew feeds a pile of kids, and our family is growing all the time. My husband’s siblings and their spouses are cranking out babies like Pez dispensers, a fact that could not make me happier. The thing is, though, while all of us adults like spicy, complex dishes, the kids usually thumb their noses at these types of recipes.

However, there are some dishes we can all agree on. Since comfort food is always a hit, and everyone loves bacon, I knew this Crock Pot Bacon Ranch Chicken was a winner as soon as I saw the title. The ingredients list and the easy directions sealed the deal. The fact that it tastes great was just icing on the creamy, bacony cake.

We really liked this recipe. We had it over mashed potatoes, which was really yummy. We had lots of gravy/sauce, and the chicken stayed really moist, even the second night!

We love this recipe. It’s tasty and easy. We served it over rice, because that’s what we had, but I prefer it over potatoes.

My husband and son liked this a lot. I thought it was meh. If I was going to make another chicken breast style recipe, I would probably go for something a bit more flavorful. Full disclosure, I made a few small tweaks that may or may not have impacted the results. I used fat-free cream of chicken soup, Fat free sour cream, and reduced fat real bacon bits. We had this with mashed potatoes, and the gravy was a nice complement for those. Not all is lost, my husband is happily taking this for lunch all week.

My family liked this. I served it over noodles, and as always, I used chicken thighs instead of breasts.

I used my 6 Quart Hamilton Beach Set ‘n Forget Programmable Slow Cooker to make this recipe.

    1. I haven’t for this recipe, but I do sub Greek yogurt for sour cream often, and I think it would work well in this case. Enjoy!
